EQUILIO LIMITED wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies, keyboards or screen magnification.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This is our target; we do not claim full conformance.
How the website supports access
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and labelled navigation so they can be navigated with assistive technologies.
- Text and controls are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Form fields have visible labels. If something needs correcting, the form lists the problems at the top, links to each field and explains how to fix it.
- Diagrams have text descriptions. Decorative visuals, including the animated 3D graphic on the home page, are hidden from screen readers.
- Animation is kept short and restrained. If you turn on "reduce motion" in your device settings, animations stop and still images are shown instead.
- Layouts adapt to screens from 360 px wide upwards and to text enlarged to 200%, without content being cut off or requiring sideways scrolling. Tables rearrange into labelled rows on small screens.
- Reading pages and sending the enquiry form also work without JavaScript.
How we check
We check the website with automated browser tests that cover keyboard operation, text contrast, headings, labels, text alternatives, reduced motion, 200% zoom and layouts from 360 px phones to wide desktop screens. A manual review with screen readers, and on a wider range of real phones, tablets and browsers, has not yet been completed. We will update this statement when it has.
